Dr. SK. Md. Rashedul Haque

Dr. Sk Md. Rashedul Haque is a highly experienced Oculoplasty and Ocular Oncology Specialist with more than 10 years of expertise in ophthalmology. He currently serves as a Senior Consultant at Aristo Eye Hospital, where he provides consultations on a weekly basis. He is widely recognized for his clinical excellence, compassionate patient care, and expertise in managing complex oculoplastic and ocular oncology conditions. Dr. Haque earned his MBBS degree from Sir Salimullah Medical College & Mitford Hospital. He subsequently completed his Master of Surgery (MS) in Ophthalmology from Bangladesh Medical University (BMU), Shahbag, Dhaka. To further advance his subspecialty training, he successfully completed a Long-term Fellowship in Oculoplasty and Ocular Oncology at the prestigious Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute & Hospital, Dhaka. Currently, Dr. Haque is working as a Consultant in the Department of Oculoplasty and Ocular Oncology at Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute & Hospital. Dr. Haque has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of disorders affecting the eyelids, lacrimal (tear drainage) system, orbit, and ocular adnexa, as well as benign and malignant tumors of the ocular and periocular region in both pediatric and adult patients. He is experienced in the comprehensive evaluation and treatment of a wide range of oculoplastic conditions, including eyelid malpositions such as ptosis, entropion, and ectropion, thyroid eye disease, orbital inflammatory disorders, congenital and acquired lacrimal disorders, and complex periocular trauma. He performs a broad spectrum of advanced oculoplastic and reconstructive procedures, including Dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR), evisceration and enucleation with orbital prosthesis, Botulinum toxin (BOTOX) injections for therapeutic and cosmetic indications, eyelid lesion excision, and eyelid reconstruction following trauma, congenital abnormalities, or tumor excision. His expertise also extends to the management of orbital and periocular tumors, with a focus on accurate diagnosis, meticulous surgical treatment, functional restoration, and aesthetic rehabilitation. He has a keen interest in research in the field of ophthalmology and is actively engaged in academic and scientific activities. He has authored and co-authored numerous articles published in national and international peer-reviewed journals.
